Ashford & Staines Community Centre

Our vision is to establish a vibrant centre offering a holistic range of religious, spiritual, educative, social and charitable services for the Muslim and wider community of Ashford and Staines, drawing on our Islamic values and heritage, and delivering these with excellence. 

The Borough of Spelthorne has a population of over 90,000 and is home to approximately 1000 Muslim families. Also being the within less than two minutes drive from Heathrow Airport (T4), ASCC serves as the first full time prayer provision in the area. 

Our aims are to:

Focus on serving the needs of the diverse local Muslim community.

Provide Muslims and non-Muslims with the opportunity to learn and understand Islam, through dialogue, discussion and social interaction.

Contribute to the social, cultural, spiritual and economic enhancement of the whole community

About our Services

Noah's Ark

Noah’s ark is a registered charity based in the Ashford and Staines area. We work to coordinate social, charitable, religious and educational projects in the local community, currently housed at the Ashford & Staines Community Centre. 

Our name represents an ethos of inclusivity and diversity, building an ark of compassion for the young and old, women and men, the vulnerable and neglected where they may all find solace in the oft rough seas of modernity. We seek to revive the spirit of the word “community” in an increasingly individualistic world, with the Ark becoming a vibrant hub for positive action and development.
